1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you visit BudgetBro websites, join the waitlist, use early access features, create an account, or use BudgetBro products and services. By using BudgetBro, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use BudgetBro.
2. What BudgetBro does
BudgetBro is a daily money decision assistant. It is designed to help users understand safe-to-spend amounts, savings goals, subscriptions, grocery and restaurant options, fuel or EV charging options, and budget-friendly choices.
BudgetBro provides budgeting assistance and decision support. It does not provide legal, tax, investment, credit repair, debt settlement, bankruptcy, medical, insurance, or professional financial advice.
3. Early access and prototype features
BudgetBro may offer beta, demo, prototype, or early access features. These features may change, break, be inaccurate, or be discontinued. Demo data, estimated prices, and unverified deals should not be treated as confirmed financial information.
We will try to label demo, estimated, or unverified data clearly.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for providing accurate account information. You must not share passwords, one-time codes, or account access with anyone who is not authorized to use your account.
BudgetBro may require account verification, multi-factor authentication, or other security steps before allowing bank-connected features or sensitive actions.
5. Bank sync and third-party providers
BudgetBro should never ask you to provide your bank username or password directly to BudgetBro. When live bank sync is available, BudgetBro plans to use a secure third-party provider such as Plaid for read-only financial data access.
Bank sync, maps, AI, payments, restaurant/menu data, grocery inventory, fuel data, EV charging data, analytics, and hosting may rely on third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
You may be able to disconnect bank accounts or request deletion of BudgetBro data by contacting support@budgetbro.co.
6. AI assistant features
BudgetBro may use AI to generate explanations, summaries, food ideas, fuel suggestions, subscription insights, and budget guidance. AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing important decisions before acting.
Do not send bank credentials, passwords, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through BudgetBro chat.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
BudgetBro may offer Free, Pro, and Pro+ plans. Paid plans, pricing, benefits, trials, renewals, and cancellation rights will be shown before purchase when paid subscriptions launch.
If BudgetBro offers paid subscriptions, users should be able to cancel through the account, billing provider, app store, or support path used for that subscription. BudgetBro will not intentionally make cancellation harder than signup.
Until paid production billing is live, pricing shown in prototypes or investor previews may be illustrative.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use BudgetBro for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity;
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- reverse engineer, scrape, attack, overload, or bypass BudgetBro security controls;
- upload malware, malicious code, or content that violates another person's rights;
- misrepresent your identity or submit false information;
- use BudgetBro to make unlawful credit, employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility decisions.
9. User content and feedback
You may provide goals, messages, prompts, support requests, feedback, or other content. You are responsible for the content you submit. You give BudgetBro permission to use that content to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
If you send ideas or feedback, BudgetBro may use them without owing compensation, while respecting our Privacy Policy.
10. BudgetBro intellectual property
BudgetBro, its name, logos, app designs, code, content, features, and product concepts are owned by BudgetBro or its licensors. You may not copy, sell, or misuse BudgetBro intellectual property without permission.
11. Disclaimers
BudgetBro is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, always accurate, or available at all times.
Local prices, grocery inventory, restaurant menus, fuel prices, EV charging prices, maps, and financial data may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, or unavailable depending on data partners and user permissions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BudgetBro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed savings, financial decisions, or third-party service issues arising from use of BudgetBro.
Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
13. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the service, or if we need to protect BudgetBro, users, partners, or third-party systems.
You may stop using BudgetBro at any time and request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
BudgetBro may update these Terms as the product, business model, vendors, legal requirements, or compliance practices change. The effective date at the top will show when these Terms were last updated.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@budgetbro.co.
For suspected account security issues, suspicious sign-ins, MFA trouble, or bank-connected data concerns, contact security@budgetbro.co. Do not send passwords, MFA codes, Plaid credentials, or full account numbers by email.
